Job description
Job Title – Staff Devops Engineer
Location – Hyderabad
Job Description:
12+ years of solid DevOps and release orchestration experience
deploying highly available, rapidly scalable cloud-based services (AWS, GCP,
etc.)
10+ years of strong Linux knowledge (RHEL 6/7/8, RHCSA/RHCE, CentOS)
7+ years of experience running Kubernetes, Docker, or OpenShift in
production environments
7+ years working with cloud-native tools: container security, service
mesh, static analysis, proxies, and networking
7+ years building and managing CI/CD platforms (e.g., Jenkins) with
frequent releases
5+ years of experience automating infrastructure with tools like
Terraform, Ansible, Chef, and Jenkins
5+ years of programming experience in cloud operations using Python,
Go, Ruby, or Java
Hands-on experience implementing and tuning observability tools (e.g.,
Prometheus, Grafana, Jaeger, Splunk)
Expertise in Git and version
control best practices
Strong troubleshooting skills for
distributed systems, infrastructure, and pipelines
Proven communication skills with
the ability to align technical work with stakeholder needs
Experience defining and driving
SLOs and SLIs in collaboration with engineering and business stakeholder
Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering,
QA, product, and customer-facing teams
Lead design and architecture for scalable DevOps solutions across
Kubernetes, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation
Build and manage secure, resilient, and high-performance infrastructure
on AWS using Terraform and Ansible
Own and enhance observability tooling (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, New
Relic, Splunk) to support SLO-driven operations
Drive cost optimization, performance tuning, and security best
practices across cloud infrastructure
Lead AI enablement initiatives using tools like Amazon Q Developer and
Claude for code generation, automation, and developer productivity
Collaborate with engineering teams on incident response, root cause
analysis, and postmortem culture
Influence system and application SLOs/SLIs in partnership with
engineering stakeholders
Implement GitOps and CI/CD practices using tools like Jenkins, GitHub
Actions, and ArgoCD
Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices across cloud
engineering and automation domains
Support platform reliability through sustainable on-call practices and
cross-team collaboration
This role needs a 2 hour overlap with the US team in Pacific Hours.
