Job description
Roles & Responsibilities
Execute
sourcing events including RFPs and RFIs under the guidance of Senior Sourcing
Managers.
Prepare and
maintain detailed bid analysis documents to support supplier evaluation and
decision-making.
Schedule and
coordinate RFx-related meetings with stakeholders and suppliers.
Monitor RFx
timelines to ensure milestones and deadlines are met.
Conduct
direct negotiations for renewals within in-scope spend areas.
Perform
supplier market research to support sourcing strategies and supplier selection.
Lead direct
negotiations for proposed new spend requirements.
Conduct spend
analysis to identify savings opportunities and supplier consolidation options.
Create and
maintain pricing databases across categories—rate cards, unit pricing,
supplier/SKU mapping, etc.
Skill set
Should have
experience in Strategic Global Sourcing.
Strong
understanding of sourcing processes (RFP, RFI, RFQ)
Experience in
bid analysis and vendor evaluation
Proficiency
in contract review (commercial terms, pricing, SLAs, T&Cs)
Supplier
negotiation skills (renewals + new spend)
Experience in
Category Management, Spend analysis and data interpretation.
Ability to
create and manage pricing databases
Basic
procurement financial concepts (POs, co-term renewals, TCO)
