Storage Engineer (SAN)

We are seeking a highly experienced Storage Engineer (SAN) – with strong expertise in enterprise storage arrays, SAN fabric operations, cloud storage platforms (AWS & Azure), and proficiency in Commvault Data Protection. The role involves supporting large-scale hybrid storage environments, ensuring performance, data protection, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage storage solutions using SAN technologies
  • Ensure high availability and data integrity of storage systems
  • Implement and manage data protection solutions using Commvault
  • Administer and manage SAN fabrics using Brocade, Cisco, and other vendors
  • Administer and manage cloud storage solutions using AWS and Azure
  • Develop and implement scripting solutions using PowerShell, Python, and CLI
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure smooth operation of storage systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve storage-related issues in a timely manner
  • Stay up to date with the latest storage technologies and best practices

Requirements

  • 8-12 years of experience in storage engineering, SAN administration, and data protection
  • Strong knowledge of storage management, data protection, and cloud storage administration
  • Experience with SAN fabric administration, SAN switching, and cloud storage administration
  • Scripting knowledge in PowerShell, Python, and CLI
  • ITIL Foundation certification
  • Certification in Hitachi, NetApp, Brocade, Cisco, AWS, Azure, and Commvault Certified Professional
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
