Role : AVP / AGM - PRA Finance and accounting SME
looking for a skilled Finance and Accounting professional with hands-on experience in Production Revenue Accounting (PRA) processes tailored to North American upstream oil and gas operations. This role bridges financial expertise with SAP PRA functionality to ensure accurate revenue reporting, regulatory compliance, and efficient financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
·       Manage financial transactions and reporting related to production volumes, royalty payments, and revenue distribution using SAP PRA.
·       Ensure accurate month-end and year-end financial close processes for PRA-related accounts.
·       Process revenue allocation, valuation, and distribution
·       Perform revenue reconciliation, variance analysis, and reporting
·       Generate owner payments and process void and stale dated checks
·       Receive checks and perform cash applications
·       Perform compliance and regulatory reporting (state and federal royalty tax and severance tax)
·       Respond to revenue-related owner inquiries
·       Perform revenue special request support
·       Reconcile PRA data with general ledger and ensure audit readiness.
·       Prepare and submit regulatory reports
·       Support financial planning and analysis activities including budgeting and forecasting.
·       Assist in data migration, validation, and transformation during ERP upgrades or implementations.
·       Provide training and documentation for finance teams on PRA processes and tools.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

·       Master degree in Finance, Accounting, Certified/Semi Certified CA/CPA or related discipline.
·       Overall 14+ yrs exp with 5+ years of experience in finance/accounting roles with exposure to SAP PRA in upstream oil & gas.
·       Strong understanding of North American PRA processes and regulatory requirements.
·       Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA and especially PRA modules.
·       Excellent analytical, reconciliation, and reporting skills.
·       Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
