Cash Payment Servicing - US Residential Mortgage

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Cash Payment Servicing - US Residential Mortgage. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mortgage servicing, loan servicing operations, and payment processing. The role will involve working with our Mortgage Servicing Platform (MSP) to ensure accurate and timely cash payments to our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Process cash payments for US residential mortgage clients using the Mortgage Servicing Platform (MSP)
  • Perform reconciliation and fund allocation tasks to ensure accurate and timely payments
  • Process payment processing, cash posting & reversals, stop payment processing, and edit reject & reversal reports
  • Monitor transactions and identify any discrepancies or issues
  • Generate specialty payments and MSP disbursements as required
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any payment-related issues or concerns

Requirements

  • 1-5 years of experience in mortgage servicing, loan servicing operations, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of payment processing, reconciliation, and fund allocation
  • Experience with Mortgage Servicing Platform (MSP) or similar systems
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
