Assistant Manager/Manager ? General Ledger Location: Noida Candidate Expectations: Candidate with 6+years? experience finance domain. Qualified accountant with at least 3-4 years of experience or Part Qualified with 5 to 6 years of experience, M.Com with at 6 to 10 years of experience Maintenance of trial balance, collaboration with sub-ledger teams, detailed revenue, cost of revenue, operating expense and balance sheet variance and trend analyses. Accounting and Journal entries for manual adjustments into the general ledger, recording, verifying, and ascertaining correct coding. Maintain and manage General Ledger & sub-ledger support & adjustments, accruals, prepaid and allocation management. Perform Intercompany accounting and variance resolutions, Payroll accounting, Fixed asset accounting activities as per month end calendar. Supporting the creation, interpretation and implementation of revenue and cost allocation. Processing the Manual adjustments in line with financial controls. Prepare and maintain accurate Balance Sheet reconciliation throughout the month end timetable and clear open item and reconciling variances Review and approval of journals submitted by team. Ensuring journals approved are first time right Review of reconciliations and ensuring quality reconciliations submitted by team Ensuring all Balance Sheet open items and reconciling variances are tracked and resolved in a time bound. Submitting report on aged Balance Sheet open items with definite action plan. Adhere to month, quarter and year-end close calendar timetables ensuring bottlenecks are resolved and escalating issues as appropriate. Ensure correctness & completeness of P&L and BS review before closure of Books each month. Operating within, evidencing, and complying to key accounting controls. Supporting delivery of audit requests. Prepare, update accurate process documentation, including standard operating procedures and send for review. Adhering to KPIs and performance against SLA?s. Working with Continuous Improvement (CI) team, embed Lean tools and principles to drive continuous system and process improvement, including identification and implementation of Robotic Process Automation opportunities and driving improvements to core Oracle R12 and Trintech Cadency Finance systems. Support Business Requirements gathering and User Acceptance Testing of Finance system implementations, including upgrades or changes to those systems. Any other duties which may arise in relation to general ledger accounting. Flexible to work in shifts.
