Lead Fundraiser Location ? Coimbatore Overview: The Lead Fundraiser plays a pivotal role in driving our organization?s fundraising efforts. This position involves strategizing, leading, and executing fundraising campaigns and initiatives to ensure we meet and exceed our financial goals. The Lead Fundraiser will work closely with the development team, board members, and key stakeholders to secure vital resources that support our mission. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Planning: ? Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to support organizational goals. ? Identify and target potential major donors, corporate sponsors, and grant opportunities. ? Create and oversee annual and long-term fundraising plans and budgets. Campaign Management: ? Lead the planning and execution of fundraising events and campaigns, including galas, auctions, and online fundraisers. ? Coordinate with marketing and communications teams to develop compelling fundraising materials and outreach strategies. ? Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of fundraising initiatives and adjust strategies as needed. Donor Relations: ? Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective donors, sponsors, and partners. ? Develop and manage donor recognition programs and stewardship activities. ? Oversee donor database management, ensuring accurate records and personalized communication. Team Leadership: ? Mentor and guide fundraising staff and volunteers, providing support and training as needed. ? Foster a collaborative and motivated team environment to achieve fundraising objectives. ? Collaborate with senior leadership and board members to align fundraising efforts with organizational priorities. Reporting and Analysis: ? Prepare regular reports on fundraising progress, challenges, and opportunities for senior leadership. ? Analyse fundraising data and trends to inform future strategies and optimize performance. ? Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in fundraising. Qualifications: ? Proven experience in fundraising, development, or a related field, with a track record of successful campaigns. ? Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. ? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
