Liaising Officer Location - Coimbatore Overview: The Liaising Officer serves as a key point of contact between our organization and various external and internal stakeholders. This role is crucial in managing relationships, facilitating communication, and ensuring smooth interactions between different parties. The Liaising Officer will work to align stakeholder interests with organizational goals, resolve issues, and promote collaboration to support the overall mission. Key Responsibilities: Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary liaison between the organization and external partners, including clients, government agencies, community groups, and other organizations. Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, understanding their needs and expectations. Facilitate communication and collaboration between stakeholders and internal teams. Communication Management: Ensure timely and effective communication between the organization and its stakeholders. Draft and distribute correspondence, reports, and other communication materials. Coordinate meetings, presentations, and briefings, ensuring all relevant parties are informed and prepared. Issue Resolution: Address and resolve stakeholder concerns, complaints, and inquiries in a professional and timely manner. Work with internal teams to identify and address potential issues or conflicts. Implement strategies to prevent future issues and enhance stakeholder satisfaction. Coordination and Collaboration: Collaborate with internal departments to ensure stakeholder needs are met and projects are aligned with organizational objectives. Facilitate cross-functional teamwork and information sharing to achieve common goals. Coordinate and support events, initiatives, and projects involving multiple stakeholders. Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of stakeholder interactions, agreements, and feedback. Prepare regular reports on stakeholder engagement activities, challenges, and successes. Analyze feedback and trends to provide insights and recommendations for improving stakeholder relations. Policy and Procedure Adherence: Ensure that all interactions and communications adhere to organizational policies and procedures. Stay informed about relevant regulations, guidelines, and best practices affecting stakeholder engagement. Provide training and guidance to staff on effective stakeholder communication and engagement practices. Qualifications: Proven experience in stakeholder management, public relations, or a related field. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and manage relationships effectively. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex situations with professionalism.
