Governance and Assurance manager - Procurement Candidate Expectation and Roles & Responsibilities Minimum 10+ Yrs of exp of required Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to a team of Governance and Assurance Analysts. Set clear objectives and performance expectations for team members, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of goals and objectives. Develop and implement strategies to ensure adherence to internal procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Oversee the execution of internal audits and reviews to assess compliance levels and identify areas for improvement. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track compliance trends and performance. Review and analyze audit findings and compliance reports generated by the Analysts, providing insights and recommendations to senior management. Prepare and present comprehensive reports on compliance status, highlighting areas of strength, weakness, and opportunities for improvement. Ensure timely and accurate communication of compliance-related information to internal stakeholders. Lead remediation efforts to address identified compliance issues, working closely with relevant stakeholders to develop and implement corrective actions. Drive process improvement initiatives to streamline procurement processes, enhance efficiency, and strengthen compliance controls. Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging regulatory requirements, incorporating relevant changes into governance frameworks and procedures Serve as a primary point of contact for senior management and other stakeholders on governance and compliance matters. Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, facilitating collaboration and communication.
