Outbound Routing Logistics Management ? Senior Associate /Team Leader /Assistant Manager Job Location - Chennai Job Responsibilities : 3-10 Years Experience in Logistics - Transportation & routing, Network Optimization, Vehicle routing, Fleet Management in Retail industry. Manage the end-to-end routing process using tools like Cosmos and Prospero for downloading, validating, and routing orders (plant, cross-dock, backhaul). Set routing parameters and run optimization sessions, adjusting routes for store-specific needs, cube requirements, and commodity types. Coordinate with warehouse, dispatch, and procurement teams to ensure on-time pickups, deliveries, and proper issue resolution. Track and log load-level details for backhaul operations, ensuring accurate reconciliation of vendor payments and credit matching. Communicate any routing or vendor-related issues promptly to internal teams, including procurement and finance. Consolidate and audit payroll data provided by fleet managers, making necessary adjustments and submitting to payroll processors. Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on routing efficiency, backhaul performance, and operational metrics such as cube weight and order volumes. Provide financial process support, including tracking daily metrics, logging financial invoices, and creating end-of-month reports for driver salaries, miles driven, and delivery volumes. Track fleet readiness and ensure compliance with operational standards for outbound routes. Identify and recommend continuous improvement opportunities for cost-saving and operational efficiency in routing processes. Support backhauls operations by reporting on-time and late arrivals, and ensuring timely tracking of payments from vendors.
