AGM - BMD Job Description: Provide maintenance leadership at the Plant through planning & executing maintenance philosophy in Mechanical, trouble free & reliable functioning of the Boiler Equipment with optimum efficiency thus meeting the generation targets as per Plan in a safe & cost effective manner with adherence to the rules of the land. Roles & Responsibilites: High Availability of Boiler and its auxiliaries as per AOP > 95% Ensuring 100% availability of Boiler and its auxiliaries as per AOP targets . Control & Optimize BMD Maintenance Cost (Excl. Capital Overhauling) and target for 10% reduction. Drive Cost Control initiatives for Consumption, Alternate Vendor development & Indigenization of OEM Spares, In-house Repairing and minimizing wastages. Restructuring of Maintenance Contracts and Optimize Service Costs for AMC & other External Repairs. Spare Management of Boiler and Auxiliaries To plan the availability of Spares parts. Consumables, critical mandatory spares, raise the requisition and ensure their availability on time. Ensuring no generation loss due to non availability of spares.
