Senior Manager or Assistant General Manager - New Car Sales
We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager or Assistant General Manager to lead our New Car Sales team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in team management, sales planning, and sales strategy, with a proven track record of driving sales effectiveness and growth in the Auto Retail industry.

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the New Car Sales team to achieve sales targets and drive business growth
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase sales effectiveness and market share
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align sales efforts with market trends and customer needs
- Analyze sales data and market trends to inform sales planning and strategy
- Develop and implement sales operations processes to improve efficiency and productivity
- Identify and develop opportunities for sales growth and expansion
- Manage and develop a high-performing team through coaching, mentoring, and performance management
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Business Administration, Marketing, Sales)
- 15-18 years of experience in the Auto Retail industry, with a focus on new car sales
- Proven track record of driving sales growth and effectiveness in a leadership role
- Strong skills in team management and development, sales planning, sales strategy, and sales analytics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders
- Ability to analyze complex data and market trends to inform sales planning and strategy
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to adapt to changing market conditions
