Job Title: ACH Processing –
Associate/Senior Associate/Team Lead
Location: Chennai
Key Responsibilities:
Candidate should have minimum
1+ Years experience in ACH Processing.
Basic understanding of
accounting principles
Knowledge in Cheque processing, & Item Processing activities for US Banks, preferably.
Data Key Entry Specialist responsible for inputting remittance data received from customers into processing platforms
Strong computer/data entry skills (alpha and numeric) to meet stringent deadlines
Read detailed customer instructions, adhering to various processing requests from simple to complex instructions
Input Cheque & remittance data for various remittance processing customers using multiple processing platforms
Good knowledge in Exception Management & Technical Validation in Cheques
Understanding of Data entry & Exception Handling such as Check Keying | Data Entry | CAR vs LAR | Balancing | Payee Name Review | Fraud Checks | Signature verification | Duplicate Checks | Liquidity check & Account review | MICR Repair | Supplemental keying | Deposit slip entry
Understanding of Suspense Reconciliation, Investigation/Query Management, Adjustment, Return Handling
Experience in ACH Processing (US Market) - Manage Dispute dishonours, Returns, Delete & Reversals, DNE/Reclamation, WSUD, POA, batch Balancing activities, Risk limit breaches, GL Outages....etc
Experience in ACH Compliance (US Market) - Review OFAC matches to determine whether true matches that need to be escalated to FCRM/OFAC or not true match, Reporting
Compare and verify data capture and data represented on screen
Meet/exceed site productivity and quality standards within a timely manner
Make judgment calls regarding routine duties, but refer non-routine situations to supervisors
Follow prescribed procedures Utilize data entry skills in various types of situations presented on a screen
Keying from machine written information & handwritten information
Balancing one payment to multiple items of detail, and ability to make informed decisions to avoid errors
Excellent customer service skills
