Job description
Job Title: Sales and Customer Service Lead
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales and Customer
Service Lead to drive market expansion, customer engagement, and revenue growth
in the tannery and industrial manufacturing sectors. The role requires strong
expertise in B2B sales, capital equipment solutions, and customer relationship
management, with a focus on building long-term partnerships and delivering
exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct in-depth market
research and analysis of the tannery marketplace in India, with emphasis on key
industrial corridors.
·
Develop and implement sales
strategies aligned with organizational growth targets and budgets.
·
Identify and engage relevant
industry partners to present technology solutions and close sales deals.
·
Secure long-term supply and
service contracts.
·
Expand the customer base and
position the company as a key supplier in target markets.
·
Drive effective sales
communication, incorporating Voice of the Customer (VOC) feedback into content
and strategy.
·
Represent the company at trade
shows, conferences, and industry forums.
·
Collaborate with local councils
and associations to strengthen market presence.
·
Provide input and support for
marketing initiatives to enhance brand awareness.
·
Collaborate with internal teams
to onboard new customers, ensuring smooth transitions from trial to full-scale
operations.
·
Support customers through
growth stages, offering recognition and rewards for milestones achieved.
·
Partner with finance teams to
monitor and update budget figures.
·
Achieve financial targets and
ensure profitability in line with business objectives.
·
Deliver comprehensive customer
service for new and existing clients.
·
Ensure seamless progression
from trial phases to full-scale operations.
·
Set and manage targets,
timelines, and incentive programs to drive customer satisfaction.
Skills & Attributes:
·
Strong
background in sales and business development within industrial or manufacturing
sectors.
·
Proven
success in B2B sales, contract negotiation, and market expansion.
·
Familiarity
with the tannery industry in India is highly desirable.
·
Experience
selling capital equipment (not limited to chemicals).
·
Demonstrated
ability to win new customers and expand market share.
·
Excellent
communication and relationship-building skills.
·
Financial
acumen to manage budgets and drive profitability.
·
Ability to
work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams.
·
Multilingual
proficiency: English, Hindi, Tamil preferred.
