Job description
Job Title – Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management - Assistant
Manager/Manager – Mumbai
Job Responsibilities
5+ years of experience
Ready to work in night shift.
Qualification should be minimum 15 years of regular, full-time education (10 + 2 + 3) is mandatory.
Law graduate with experience in
providing legal advice in regulatory matters, with relevant years of experience
either as a law practitioner in reputed companies or companies in financial
services/ insurance sector/ Big four consulting firms.
Strong knowledge of financial
service regulations across multiple jurisdictions (US, UK, EU, APAC preferred).
Experience in regulatory audits,
compliance risk assessments, and legal research. Ability to analyze and
interpret laws and regulations, with excellent attention to detail. Strong
stakeholder management and communication skills. Prior experience in working
with regulators, external auditors, or legal teams is a plus. Strong written
and verbal communication skills. Attention to detail and problem-solving
abilities
Required Skills:
Key responsibilities around core
areas of Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management, Audits & assessments,
Legal research and advisory, stakeholder management (internal & external),
contract reviews
Monitor, assess interpret
regulatory requirements applicable to BFSI business
Identify compliance risks and work
with stakeholders to implement necessary controls and mitigation strategies.
Conduct internal compliance audits
and regulatory assessments of business processes after understanding the
intricacies of the applicable regulations.
Assist in responding to regulatory
inquiries, inspections, and audits.
Ensure compliance with licensing,
registration, and reporting obligations across jurisdictions.
Perform legal research on financial
services regulations, licensing requirements, and emerging compliance issues.
Provide regulatory guidance to
internal teams on new business initiatives and product offerings.
Liaise with internal business
teams, clients, TEIL Compliance, and external counsel to discuss regulatory
obligations
Conduct training sessions for
business teams on compliance requirements.
Review of MSAs and SoWs from a
regulatory compliance perspective.
