Job description
Job Title: Store Operations Analyst –-Bangalore
Role Overview: The Retail Store Operations Analyst provides analytical
documentation, and reporting support to enhance store efficiency and
operational performance. This offshore role enables accurate workforce
planning, optimized staffing, SOP updates, and operational reporting for Store
Operations leadership. The Analyst focuses on improving process accuracy,
developing high-quality content, analyzing operational data, and supporting
decision-making through insights. Working closely with the Store Operations
Head and cross-functional teams, the role strengthens store productivity,
ensures process compliance, and drives operational excellence across the retail
network.
Key Responsibilities
Support workforce forecasting and
weekly/monthly roster creation.
Ensure compliance with labor standards,
staffing norms, and SOP-driven scheduling.
Monitor, analyze & report (preferably via
dashboards) store productivity, workforce utilization, and operational KPIs.
Track variance, identify bottlenecks, and
provide actionable insights to improve store efficiency.
Maintain and update Standard Operating
Procedures (SOPs) for store operations & create clear, user-friendly
documentation, checklists, and process guidelines.
Create training and reference materials to
support store teams and new processes & assist in content review to ensure
consistency, accuracy, and alignment with brand standards.
Monitor store adherence to operational
procedures, labor practices, and audit standards.
Support the creation of compliance frameworks
and dashboards to track store performance.
Highlight exceptions, risks, and improvement
opportunities for leadership review.
Support new initiatives, pilots, and
operational rollouts by providing analytical and documentation support.
Collaborate with the Store Operations Head to
prioritize tasks and deliver insights on key operational issues.
Identify & benchmark store operational
performance and propose best practices, inefficiencies in store processes and
recommend improvements and support automation opportunities in scheduling,
reporting, and documentation workflows.
Required Skills &
Qualifications
Bachelor’s
degree in Business, Operations, Retail, Analytics, or related field
5+
years’ experience in retail operations, workforce management, or business
analytics
Advanced
Excel and experience with BI tools (Power BI/Tableau)
Skilled
in SOP writing, process documentation, and content creation
Knowledge
of retail store operations and workforce planning
Experience
with workforce management/scheduling tools (e.g., Kronos, Reflexis)
Ability
to build dashboards, trackers, and operational reports
Strong
MS Office proficiency (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Excellent
communication and stakeholder coordination
High
attention to detail and accuracy
