Job description
Job Title: Loss Prevention Security Operation Specialist
Location: Bengaluru
Key Responsibilities:
Candidate should have 5+ years in GCC/BPO/shared services
supporting retail LP, risk ops, inventory control, or finance ops. Strong data
analysis skills; expertise with Excel (advanced) and BI (Power BI/Tableau).
Experience with exception-based reporting (EBR) and POS/ERP
data (refunds, voids, overrides).
Working knowledge of inventory control and retail finance
concepts (shrink, write-offs, accruals).
Understanding of retail LP controls, store operations, and
inventory processes.
Familiarity with case management workflows and evidence
packaging for investigations.
Service-organization rigor: SLA adherence, ticketing,
escalation, audit documentation.
Clear written communication for leadership reporting and
SOPs.
Strong coordination across LP, Finance, and Store Ops;
proactive issue resolution.
Consolidate POS/ERP/audit/incident data; build shrink
dashboards (store/region/category).
Run exception reporting (voids, refunds, price overrides,
no-scan/scan-avoidance, discount/coupon misuse, cash variances).
Package case evidence (transaction extracts, patterns,
timelines) for onshore investigations.
Produce weekly risk briefs—high-risk stores/SKUs, repeat
patterns, root-cause hypotheses.
Reconcile book vs. physical inventory; flag negative on hand,
chronic variance sites/SKUs.
Track cycle count accuracy, stock adjustments,
damages/returns trends; recommend deep-dives/recounts.
Publish inventory variance dashboards and RCA summaries for
Ops/LP.
Partner with Finance to publish shrink bridges (P&L),
recovery tracking, and margin impact.
Monitor cash/tender variances, deposit mismatches, credit
note/adjustment validations.
Prepare month-end packs: reconciliations, exception
narratives, accrual inputs.
Maintain LP KPI suite: shrink %, incident rate, recovery
value, exception closure time, compliance index.
Drive daily/weekly/monthly cadence with onshore owners;
track action closures and escalate aging items.
Keep audit-ready documentation (version-controlled reports,
evidence logs, access trails).
Update LP policies/SOPs (POS controls, refunds, cash
handling) with clear quick-reference guides.
Support micro-learning content and completion tracking for
store teams.
Coordinate communications on policy changes and compliance
expectations.
