Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective Health and Safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
• Conduct regular hazard identification and risk assessments to mitigate potential hazards and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Investigate incidents and near-miss incidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure Health and Safety is integrated into all aspects of the business.
• Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies and industry stakeholders to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
• Provide training and guidance to employees on Health and Safety procedures and protocols.

Requirements

• 15-20 years of experience in Health and Safety, preferably in the power sector.
• Strong knowledge of Health and Safety regulations and industry standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels and external stakeholders.
• Strong leadership and management skills to lead a team of Health and Safety professionals.
