Job description

Service Manager / Senior Service Manager

We are seeking an experienced Service Manager / Senior Service Manager to lead our car workshop in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in people management, planning, strategy, customer relationship management, and service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement service strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Manage and lead a team of service technicians and advisors to ensure efficient service delivery
  • Plan and coordinate service operations to meet business objectives and customer demands
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure their needs are met and exceeded
  • Monitor and analyze service performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and customer experience
  • Develop and implement service center management strategies to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure our service center remains competitive

Requirements

  • 12-16 years of experience in service management, preferably in the automotive industry
  • Strong people management and leadership skills
  • Excellent planning, strategy, and operations management skills
  • Proven track record of improving customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Strong customer relationship management skills
  • Ability to analyze and interpret service performance metrics
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. business administration, management)
