Job description
Job Role: Sales Manager (Casting and Foundry) - Sriperumbudur
Role
Overview
We are looking for a seasoned professional with
at least 10 years of experience in the Indian scrap industry to lead operations and business development.
Responsibilities:
1.
Strategic Business Development & Trading
- Network Expansion: Leverage an
extensive industry network to identify and secure new high-value scrap vendors
and corporate clients.
- Full-Cycle Bidding: Direct the entire
bidding process, including market analysis, price estimation, and contract
finalization.
- Pricing & Contract Management:
Oversee purchase and sales price fluctuations to ensure profitability and
manage long-term contract stability.
2.
Operational Leadership & Field Management
- Supervisor Command: Actively manage,
train, and audit on-site supervisors stationed at various client sites to
ensure operational excellence.
- Process Optimization: Implement
standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline collection, weighing, and
transportation.
- Local Issue Mitigation: Proactively
resolve local hurdles, including labor disputes, logistics bottlenecks, and
regulatory compliance.
Required
Qualifications & Skills
- Industry
Experience: Minimum 10–15 years of proven experience in the Indian
scrap/recycling industry (Operations, Sales, and Procurement).
- Korean
Company Experience: Mandatory experience working within a Korean organization
(or with major Korean clients).
- Understanding
of Korean work ethics, reporting structures, and the value of speed and
precision.
- Proven
Integrity: A flawless track record of honesty and ethical conduct, with the
ability to provide strong professional references.
- Problem-Solving: Expert-level experience in handling local "ground-level" issues and navigating the complexities of the Indian unorganized sector.
- Language:
Professional fluency in English and Tamil (Knowledge of Korean is a plus but
not required).
