AVP - Commercial Credit Underwriting

Location

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement commercial credit underwriting policies and procedures
• Conduct thorough credit analysis and underwriting for commercial loans and mortgage
• Evaluate creditworthiness of borrowers and assess credit risk
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely loan processing
• Manage and mentor a team of underwriters to ensure high-quality underwriting and credit analysis
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in commercial credit underwriting

Requirements

• 14-20 years of experience in commercial credit underwriting, commercial real estate, and commercial lending
• Strong knowledge of commercial underwriting, credit analysis, and creditworthiness assessment
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Loan IQ and Loan Syndication software
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
