Job description
Job Title: Software Estimator - Assistant Manager
Location: Bengaluru
Key Responsibilities:
Candidates
should have 7+ years of experience in software estimation.
Candidate should have Strong understanding of software
development life cycle (SDLC) and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
Knowledge of programming languages and software architecture
to understand technical complexity.
Understanding of Software Lines of Code (SLOC)
Ability to analyze technical specifications, requirements,
and design documents.
Estimation tools (SEER, @Risk, BOE, ETC).
Statistical Analysis.
Business and Manufacturing Acumen.
Prior experience in software estimation preferred
Project Management Skills
Ask questions and put together a SOW, documents ground rules
and assumptions.
Experience working with cross-functional teams including
developers, QA, engineers and business analysts.
Background in handling multiple projects and delivering
estimates under tight deadlines.
Ability to evaluate supplier proposals for software
development and assess reasonability
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent
written, interpersonal and verbal communication skills to explain estimates and
assumptions to stakeholders.
Ability to justify estimates with internal teams.
Project management/Organization
Candidate should be flexible working in any shifts.
