Job description
Job Title: HR Generalist
Job Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and versatile HR Generalist to
manage the full spectrum of HR activities. This role will support both site and
office operations, focusing on recruitment, statutory compliance, payroll,
attendance, employee welfare, and engagement. The candidate will ensure smooth
coordination between management and workforce while promoting legal compliance
and employee satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll Management
• Compile payroll inputs including attendance, OT, leave, and
bonus details
• Coordinate with the finance/payroll team for timely salary
processing
• Ensure accuracy in statutory deductions (PF, ESI, TDS, PT)
• Handle salary-related employee queries and distribute payslips
• Maintain wage registers as per compliance requirements
Statutory Compliance
• Ensure 100% compliance with labor laws (PF, ESI, Bonus,
Gratuity, CLRA, BOCW, etc.)
• Maintain statutory registers and coordinate with contractors for
compliance data
• Prepare and submit statutory returns within deadlines
• Facilitate labor inspections, audits, and legal documentation
• Track licenses and permits for various sites (as per Shops &
Establishment Act, Factory Act)
Recruitment & Onboarding
• Manage end-to-end recruitment for technical, non-technical, and
site-based roles
• Coordinate manpower planning with project managers and
contractors
• Source candidates via job portals, agencies, referrals, and
walk-ins
• Conduct interviews, issue offer letters, and manage joining
formalities
• Execute induction and orientation programs for new employees
