Job description
Job Title: Thingworx Developer

Candidate Specification: Minimum 3 to 9 Years of Experience.
Job Description:
Develop custom IoT applications using ThingWorx Foundation and Composer
Design and implement mashups, data models, and services using JavaScript
Integrate ThingWorx with industrial systems (PLC, SCADA, OPC, Kepware) and enterprise systems (ERP, MES)
Develop and manage Things, ThingTemplates, ThingShapes, DataTables, InfoTables
Implement secure role-based access and permissions within the ThingWorx environment
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into functional solutions
Optimize application performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high system availability
Integrate ThingWorx with external applications via REST/SOAP APIs
Work with Edge devices using ThingWorx Edge SDKs and communication protocols like MQTT
Support deployment, configuration, and version control across development and production environments
Required Skills:
Strong hands-on experience with PTC ThingWorx platform
Proficient in JavaScript, ThingWorx Services, and Mashup Builder
Experience with IoT protocols like MQTT, REST, WebSockets
Good understanding of data modeling using ThingTemplates, ThingShapes, and DataTables
Integration knowledge with Kepware, SCADA, ERP, or MES systems
Familiarity with Edge devices and ThingWorx Edge SDKs
Solid understanding of InfoTables, Streams, and Value Streams
