Head - Logistics

We are seeking an experienced Head - Logistics to lead our logistics operations in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have expertise in EXIM Head, Head Export Import Logistics, Export Import Manager Garments, Garment Export Logistics, Apparel Export Operations, SEZ Operations Manager, Customs Compliance Manager, Export Logistics Head, Import Export Operations Head, and International Logistics Manager Garments.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective logistics strategies to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods
  • Manage and oversee EXIM operations, including export and import logistics
  • Lead a team of logistics professionals to ensure seamless execution of logistics operations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
  • Ensure compliance with customs regulations and laws
  • Manage relationships with suppliers, carriers, and other stakeholders
  • Analyze and optimize logistics costs to improve efficiency and reduce expenses
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure the company remains competitive

Requirements

  • Minimum 0 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management
  • Proven track record of success in leading logistics teams and implementing effective logistics strategies
  • Strong knowledge of EXIM regulations and customs laws
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to analyze complex logistics data and make informed decisions
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Strong understanding of logistics software and systems
  • Ability to travel as required
