GCP Platform Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled GCP Platform Engineer to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and a strong understanding of cloud computing principles. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on GCP.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on GCP
  • Develop and maintain cloud-based applications using Python and GCP services
  • Configure and manage Compute Engine instances, Cloud Storage (GCS), and Dataproc clusters
  • Implement Cloud Composer workflows and monitor them using Cloud Monitoring
  • Manage IAM roles and permissions to ensure secure access to GCP resources
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud-based solutions

Requirements

  • 0-2 years of experience in GCP Platform Engineering
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing principles and GCP services
  • Proficiency in Python programming language
  • Experience with Compute Engine, Cloud Storage (GCS), Dataproc, Cloud Composer, and Cloud Monitoring
  • Knowledge of IAM and Linux operating systems
  • GCP Professional Cloud Architect certification is preferred
