API Developer

We are seeking an experienced API Developer to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in API development, with expertise in Kotlin, Java, Spring Boot, SQL, and REST API development. Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is also highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable and efficient APIs using Kotlin, Java, and Spring Boot.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and develop APIs that meet those needs.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality, well-documented APIs that adhere to industry standards.
  • Work with the database team to design and implement database schema for API data storage.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve API-related issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in API development and apply that knowledge to improve our APIs.

Requirements

  • 6-9 years of experience in API development with a strong background in Kotlin, Java, and Spring Boot.
  • Experience with SQL and database design principles.
  • Strong understanding of REST API development and design principles.
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is highly desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
