Job Title: AVP/VP - F&A Delivery Head - Mumbai/Bangalore
Candidate expectation & Responsibilities:
Position
Overview
The Delivery
Head –a senior leadership role accountable for end‑to‑end delivery of Finance
& Accounting (F&A) operations for a large engagement. The role owns
service delivery excellence, financial performance, client satisfaction, and
transformation agenda.
This position
requires a strong blend of domain expertise in F&A, large‑scale delivery
management, stakeholder leadership, and continuous transformation to drive
business outcomes, margin improvement, and account growth.
Key
Responsibilities
Delivery &
Strategic Leadership
- Own overall
delivery strategy and execution for F&A services across CBG & CMI
accounts, aligned to enterprise objectives and client outcomes.
- Act as the
executive delivery owner for large and strategic engagement, ensuring
consistent performance against SLAs, KPIs, and contractual commitments.
Operational
Excellence
- Lead end-to-end
delivery of Finance & Accounting services including Accounts Payable,
Accounts Receivable, Record to Report, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and
Management Reporting.
- Ensure stable,
scalable, and compliant operations while managing high transaction volumes
and complex client requirements.
Client &
Stakeholder Management
- Serve as a
trusted advisor and escalation point for client leadership, ensuring
proactive governance, issue resolution, and value creation.
- Identify
opportunities for process optimization, scope expansion, and
transformation-led growth within existing accounts.
Transformation
& Process Optimization
- Drive continuous
improvement through Lean, Six Sigma, automation, analytics, and digital
enablement initiatives.
- Lead
transformation programs focused on productivity gains, cycle time
reduction, accuracy improvement, and cost optimization.
Financial
Ownership
- Own P&L for
assigned portfolios, including revenue assurance, cost optimization,
margin improvement, and financial governance.
- Track and drive
efficiency levers to meet profitability and growth targets.
People &
Talent Leadership
- Build, mentor,
and lead large, multi-location delivery teams including Delivery Managers,
Process Leads, and Subject Matter Experts.
- Foster a
performance-driven culture with focus on capability building, leadership
pipeline, and employee engagement.
Risk,
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure full
compliance with regulatory standards, internal controls, client policies,
and audit requirements.
- Proactively
manage delivery risks, data security, and business continuity.
Technology
& Innovation Enablement
- Champion adoption
of automation platforms, intelligent workflows, analytics, and AI‑led
solutions to enhance delivery efficiency and client value.
- Partner with
technology and transformation teams to future‑proof service delivery.
Reporting
& Governance
- Provide regular
executive-level reporting to senior leadership and clients, covering
delivery health, financial performance, risks, and improvement actions.
- Lead structured
governance forums including MBRs, QBRs, and executive reviews.
Qualifications
& Experience
- Bachelor’s degree
in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related discipline; CA
/ICWA preferred.
- 25+ years of
experience in F&A operations with significant delivery leadership
exposure in BPS environment.
- Proven experience
managing large engagements with strategic outlook- end to end ownership is
key.
- Strong
understanding of global finance trends, evolving operating models, risk
and compliance understanding.
- Demonstrated
success in leading digital transformation
- Experience
managing geographically distributed teams and global clients
-Manufacturing exposure will be an added strength.
