Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Bangalore. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial and contractual aspects of construction projects, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the preparation and administration of Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and other contractual documents.
  • Conduct quantity take-offs and cost estimations for construction projects.
  • Analyze rates and prices for materials and labor to ensure accurate cost estimates.
  • Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts with suppliers and contractors.
  • Oversee site execution and ensure that projects are completed in accordance with contractual requirements.
  • Prepare and manage project billing and payment schedules.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • 2-6 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial interior fit-out projects and BOQ preparation.
  • Excellent cost estimation and rate analysis skills.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and other construction software.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
