DGM / AGM Finance & Accounting
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced DGM/AGM Finance & Accounting professional to lead our finance operations in Bangalore. The role involves overseeing financial accounting, general ledger management, P&L and balance sheet reporting, fund and working capital management, and accounts receivable & payable management. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, optimizing cash flow, and providing strategic financial insights to support business growth.

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the day‑to‑day financial accounting functions, ensuring compliance with GAAP and local regulatory requirements.
- Oversee general ledger management, including month‑end close, reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Prepare and analyze P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements to provide actionable insights to senior leadership.
- Develop and implement fund and working capital management strategies to optimize liquidity and reduce financial risk.
- Supervise accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, ensuring timely invoicing, collections, and vendor payments.
- Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and audit requirements, and lead external audit engagements.
- Mentor and develop finance staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
- 10 to 15 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position.
- Strong expertise in financial accounting, general ledger management, P&L and balance sheet reporting.
- Proven track record in fund and working capital management, as well as accounts receivable and payable management.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
