Head - Group HR & Admin

We are seeking an experienced Head of Group HR & Admin to lead the human resources and administrative functions for our Bangalore operations. The successful candidate will develop and execute HR strategy, oversee performance management, succession planning, and talent development initiatives, ensure statutory compliance and adherence to Indian Labour Laws, manage industrial relations, and support corporate governance and legal coordination. This senior leadership role requires a deep understanding of HR best practices, strong leadership skills, and the ability to drive organizational effectiveness across a dynamic business environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive HR strategy aligned with the company’s business objectives.
  • Lead performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans.
  • Design and execute succession planning and talent development programs to build a robust leadership pipeline.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements and Indian Labour Laws, including payroll, leave, and benefits administration.
  • Manage industrial relations, addressing employee grievances, and maintaining a positive workplace culture.
  • Collaborate with corporate governance teams to uphold policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
  • Coordinate legal matters related to HR and administration, ensuring alignment with regulatory frameworks.
  • Oversee day‑to‑day administrative operations, including facilities, procurement, and vendor management.
  • Provide strategic counsel to senior leadership on HR and administrative matters.

Requirements

  • 15 to 20 years of progressive experience in HR and administration, with a proven track record in senior leadership roles.
  • Expertise in Human Resources Strategy, Leadership Performance Management, Succession Planning, Talent Development, Statutory Compliance, Indian Labour Laws, Industrial Relations, Corporate Governance, Administration, and Legal Coordination.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into effective HR solutions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams and influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced certifications (e.g., SHRM-SCP, HRCI SPHR) are a plus.
