CI/CD Engineer

We are seeking a CI/CD Engineer to administer, monitor, and maintain enterprise Linux servers, deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes, and support the full lifecycle of system and application infrastructure. The role involves troubleshooting complex infrastructure, managing ITSM processes, configuring Elasticsearch clusters, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless platform operations.

Responsibilities

  • Administer, monitor, and maintain enterprise Linux servers in production environments.
  • Deploy, configure, and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Perform system installation, patching, upgrades, configuration management, and lifecycle management of hardware and software.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure, operating system, networking, and application issues.
  • Manage ITSM processes including Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Request Management.
  • Configure, maintain, and optimize Elasticsearch clusters for availability and performance.
  • Monitor system health, capacity, and performance while implementing proactive improvements.
  • Troubleshoot networking issues involving TCP/IP, UDP, VLANs, VXLANs, firewalls, routing, proxies, and load balancing.
  • Implement security best practices for Linux systems and container platforms.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using Shell scripting and Ansible playbooks.
  • Collaborate with DevOps, Development, Security, and Infrastructure teams to ensure seamless platform operations.
  • Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and operational runbooks.
  • Participate in on‑call support and resolve production incidents within defined SLAs.

Requirements

  • Strong hands‑on experience with Linux system administration (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, or similar).
  • Extensive knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes administration.
  • Experience managing enterprise server infrastructure and platform operations.
  • Strong understanding of ITSM processes and hardware/software lifecycle management.
  • Hands‑on experience with Elasticsearch installation, configuration, administration, and performance tuning.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills across operating systems, infrastructure, networking, and applications.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, UDP, VLAN, VXLAN, firewalls, proxies, DNS, routing, and switching.
