Operations Head – Fire & Rescue
We are seeking an experienced Operations Head to lead our Fire & Rescue division in Mumbai. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of fire and rescue operations, manage fire fighting equipment, coordinate emergency response activities, and drive project execution from tender to completion. This senior role requires strong leadership, financial acumen, and a proven track record in managing large teams and complex service operations.

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage day‑to‑day fire and rescue operations, ensuring compliance with local regulations and industry best practices.
- Oversee the procurement, maintenance, and deployment of fire fighting equipment and related assets.
- Coordinate emergency response operations, including incident command, resource allocation, and inter‑agency collaboration.
- Drive project operations from tendering through execution, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Manage tender and contract processes, negotiating terms with vendors and service providers.
- Supervise service operations, ensuring high quality service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Lead team and manpower management, including recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and workforce planning.
- Execute project execution plans, monitor progress, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Develop and manage the P & L for the Fire & Rescue division, ensuring financial targets are met.
- Report regularly to senior leadership on operational performance, risk management, and strategic initiatives.
Requirements
- 15 to 23 years of progressive experience in fire and rescue operations or a related field.
- Demonstrated expertise in fire fighting equipment management and emergency response operations.
- Strong background in project operations, tender & contract management, and service operations.
- Proven ability to lead and develop high‑performing teams and manage manpower effectively.
- Experience in project execution, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Solid financial acumen with experience in P & L management and budget oversight.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Fire Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline; advanced certifications in fire safety or operations management are a plus.
