Assistant/Deputy Manager - Human Resource
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources professional to join our team in Karur, Tamil Nadu. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing recruitment and talent acquisition, overseeing manufacturing and corporate HR functions, driving employee engagement, and leading training & development initiatives. This position requires a deep understanding of HR MIS, competency mapping, induction & onboarding processes, as well as HR/IR and industrial relations within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end recruitment and talent acquisition processes for manufacturing and corporate roles.
- Develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives in a manufacturing setting.
- Design and execute employee engagement programs to enhance workplace culture and retention.
- Plan, coordinate, and deliver training and development initiatives across the organization.
- Maintain and analyze HR MIS data to support decision-making and reporting.
- Conduct competency mapping to identify skill gaps and support workforce planning.
- Oversee induction and onboarding programs for new hires to ensure smooth integration.
- Manage HR/IR functions, including grievance handling, disciplinary actions, and compliance with labor laws.
- Facilitate industrial relations activities, liaising with trade unions and ensuring harmonious workplace relations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 6 to 10 years of progressive experience in HR, with a strong background in recruitment, talent acquisition, and manufacturing HR.
- Demonstrated expertise in corporate HR functions, employee engagement, and training & development.
- Proficiency in HR MIS systems and competency mapping techniques.
- Experience managing induction & onboarding processes and handling HR/IR and industrial relations matters.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
