Assistant Manager / Manager - Technical Sales

We are seeking an experienced Technical Sales professional to lead and manage tendering, EPC sales, RFQ handling, project sales, and government sales initiatives in Mumbai. The role requires a deep understanding of the bidding process and a proven track record of securing large-scale EPC contracts. The successful candidate will work closely with engineering, procurement, and project management teams to deliver solutions that meet client requirements and drive revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end tendering and bidding process for EPC projects, ensuring compliance with client specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, key stakeholders, and potential clients to identify new business opportunities.
  • Prepare and present RFQs, proposals, and technical sales presentations to prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design project sales strategies and pricing models that maximize profitability.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and insights to senior management.
  • Mentor and coach junior sales staff, fostering a high-performance sales culture.

Requirements

  • 7 to 12 years of experience in technical sales, with a focus on EPC projects, tendering, and government sales.
  • Demonstrated success in managing RFQ handling, project sales, and bidding processes.
  • Strong knowledge of EPC sales cycles, contract negotiation, and procurement procedures.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (preferred).
