Chartered Accountant or equivalent qualification in Finance & Accounting
15–20 years of experience in Finance & Accounting shared services / BPO / GBS environments.
Experience managing large offshore teams and client relationships.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and escalation handling skills.
Proven track record in delivery, transformation, and people leadership.
Willingness to work with AU time zone overlap starting at ~3:00 AM IST.
Experience in large-scale transitions or multi-client delivery
Exposure to digital finance transformation programs
BPO/KPO Finance operations delivery experience across all towers Mandatory
Job description
Provide leadership, review and governance for the day to day delivery of team responsibilities on F&A
operations to the various lines of Business.
Maintain high level of connect and engagement with the Line of businesses and business partners
across the globe
The primary responsibility will be overseeing the month/quarter/year end close, co-ordination with
auditors on statutory
Drive quality & timely accounting closure process with agreed timelines
Ensure all the sub-functions of finance are engaged collaboratively to ensure accounts are maintained
current and clean.
Demonstrate lean six sigma framework to drive continuous performance improvement and drive
transformation agenda
Must be able to work with cross functional teams like Operations, Global Process owner, Digital team, Transformation
team, Transitions team etc.
Pro-active, ability to trouble shoot, work through organizational change scenarios.
Implement appropriate mechanisms to identify, understand and intensify performance gaps and/or
performance breakthroughs. Develop and implement improvement plans to close performance gaps.
Collaborate in the new deal process including solutioning, pricing, due diligence, transition and
stabilization
Act as the single point of accountability for offshore delivery performance.
Define, manage, and govern SLAs, KPIs, and productivity targets across all F&A towers.
Monitor performance dashboards and lead weekly/monthly client governance reviews.
Drive root-cause analysis for SLA misses, quality issues, and client escalations.
Ensure continuous improvement in cost, quality, timeliness, and customer satisfaction.
Lead service reviews, QBRs, and performance reporting with global stakeholders.
Partner with clients to roadmap service expansion, scope changes, and maturity improvements.
• Lead and manage Tower Leads, Managers, and tower SMEs across AP, AR, and R2R.
Drive hiring, workforce planning, succession, and capacity management.
Establish performance culture through goal setting, coaching, and feedback.
Drive employee engagement, retention, and leadership development.
Ensure strong documentation, backup coverage, and knowledge continuity.
Transformation & Continuous Improvement
• Identify and drive automation, standardization, and digital transformation initiatives.
Partner with transformation, IT, and automation teams (RPA, BlackLine, workflow tools).
Lead process transitions, migrations, and stabilization from onshore to offshore.
Deliver productivity improvements, cost savings, and scalability enhancements.
Financial & Commercial Management
Own offshore delivery budget, cost management, and productivity tracking.
Support pricing inputs, scope assessments, and commercial discussions.
Deliver against financial commitments and margin targets (where applicable).
