Job description
·
Proficiency
in reviewing and interpreting P&IDs, piping layouts, and mechanical
engineering drawings.
·
Strong
knowledge of ASME, IBR, and applicable thermal power plant engineering codes
and standards.
·
Exposure
to Heat and Mass Balance (H&MB) calculations and their application in power
plant systems.
·
Experience
in plant and equipment layout review and optimization, considering operability,
maintainability, safety, accessibility, and space utilization.
·
Familiarity
with mechanical engineering design and analysis software/tools.
·
Ability
to review engineering deliverables, technical specifications, datasheets,
drawings, and vendor documentation.
·
Strong
understanding of mechanical systems and interfaces within thermal power plant
projects.
·
Ability
to identify design issues, engineering risks, and interface gaps and coordinate
timely resolution.
·
Good
coordination skills for working with OEMs, EPC contractors, consultants,
vendors, and internal project teams.
