Detailed Job Description
JD:
The organization is looking for Power System Engineers with strong expertise in power system engineering, network planning, transmission and distribution, utilities, and renewable energy systems.
The role requires hands-on experience in power system studies, analysis, simulation and engineering design, with exposure to conventional and renewable energy systems including Solar, Wind and Battery Storage.
The candidate should have strong knowledge of applicable IEC and IEEE standards and practical experience using power system simulation and analysis tools such as PowerSafety, PSS/E (PSSE), ETAP and PowerFactory.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform power system engineering studies and analysis for transmission and distribution networks.
  • Conduct RMS and EMT studies for electrical power systems.
  • Perform power quality and harmonic analysis.
  • Conduct network planning and system performance studies.
  • Analyze transmission and distribution system requirements.
  • Support power system studies for solar, wind and battery energy storage systems.
  • Perform protection and relay coordination studies.
  • Develop, validate and analyze power system models using industry-standard simulation tools.
  • Utilize PSS/E, ETAP, PowerSafety and PowerFactory for network modelling, simulation and engineering analysis.
  • Apply relevant IEC and IEEE standards while performing engineering studies and preparing technical deliverables.
  • Identify system constraints, technical issues and potential network improvement requirements.
  • Support technical documentation, study reports and engineering recommendations.
  • Collaborate with engineering and project teams to deliver power system analysis within defined timelines.
  • Ensure quality and accuracy of engineering calculations, simulations and technical deliverables.
