Job description
Develop,
implement and monitor EHS policies, procedures, standards and safety programs
across the organization/site.
· Ensure compliance with applicable EHS statutory requirements, regulations and legal standards.
· Conduct HIRA, JSA, risk assessments, safety inspections and EHS compliance audits.
· Identify workplace hazards and implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
· Lead investigation of accidents, incidents and near misses, including root cause analysis and CAPA implementation.
· Monitor EHS performance indicators including safety observations, near misses, incident rates and other key EHS KPIs.
· Conduct toolbox talks, safety training, awareness programs and emergency response drills.
· Ensure effective implementation of PPE, Permit to Work (PTW), LOTO, working-at-height and confined-space safety procedures.
· Manage contractor safety and ensure compliance with organizational/site EHS standards.
· Drive fire safety, emergency preparedness and disaster management initiatives.
· Monitor environmental compliance including hazardous waste, waste management, emissions and effluent management.
· Maintain EHS documentation, statutory registers, inspection reports, audit records and compliance reports.
