Job Description

· Independently manage day-to-day Press Shop operations, ensuring smooth and efficient shop-floor activities.

· Handle and manage manpower of up to 100 personnel, including workforce allocation, productivity and performance monitoring.

· Plan and monitor daily production activities to achieve production targets, quality requirements and delivery schedules.

· Drive productivity improvement initiatives and optimize manpower, machines and resources for efficient production.

· Monitor shop-floor quality and ensure adherence to defined quality standards and production processes.

· Ensure effective implementation of 5S, Kaizen, safety practices and production systems across the Press Shop.

· Maintain strong focus on workplace safety and ensure compliance with applicable safety procedures.

· Independently handle and support IATF and VSA audits, including preparation of required documentation and implementation of corrective actions.

· Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Planning and other cross-functional teams to resolve shop-floor issues.

· Monitor production performance, identify bottlenecks and implement corrective and preventive actions.

· Ensure customer-specific requirements are understood and consistently maintained on the shop floor.

· Maintain production-related records and utilize Google Drive and Google Sheets for reporting, tracking and documentation.

· Demonstrate strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills in managing day-to-day production challenges.

· Preference will be given to candidates who have worked with Tier-1 / Tier-2 automotive suppliers serving MSIL / TML.
