Job Description
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, architect, and modernize mission-critical enterprise applications with a focus on scalability, reliability, security, and high availability.
  • Lead end-to-end application development and technical delivery, including coding, code reviews, technical design, mentoring, and engineering best practices.
  • Define and drive technology roadmaps aligned with business and operational requirements.
  • Architect and implement solutions leveraging public cloud platforms and cloud-native technologies.
  • Design robust system integration frameworks, APIs, microservices, and enterprise integration patterns to enable seamless data exchange across applications and platforms.
  • Drive application performance engineering, including monitoring, capacity planning, optimization, scalability, throughput, and availability improvements.
  • Lead large-scale application development, modernization, and migration programs.
  • Manage project/program planning, risks, dependencies, stakeholder coordination, governance, and timely delivery.
  • Partner with business and IT stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable and sustainable technology solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, operational efficiency, predictive/prescriptive analytics, AI, and GenAI adoption.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions that improve application reliability, operational efficiency, and business outcomes.
  • Ensure effective collaboration between development, architecture, infrastructure, cloud, operations, and business teams.
  • Support highly available and resilient applications operating in business-critical / mission-critical environments.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of application architecture, engineering processes, operational practices, and technology standards.
Required Skills & Experience
  1. Strong software development / application development experience with exposure to coding and software development lifecycle activities.
  2. Strong understanding of IT operations and enterprise application environments.
  3. Expertise in Enterprise Solution Architecture, including designing and modernizing mission-critical applications.
  4. Strong application development and technical leadership capabilities, including coding, code reviews, mentoring, and technology roadmap ownership.
  5. Experience with public cloud platforms and cloud-native architecture.
  6. Strong expertise in system integration, API design, and enterprise integration patterns.
  7. Experience in performance engineering, scalability, throughput, reliability, and high availability.
  8. Proven experience managing large-scale application development, modernization, and migration programs.
  9. Exposure to automation, AI/GenAI, predictive analytics, or emerging technologies.
  10. Strong stakeholder management, communication, problem-solving, and technology leadership skills.
