4. Detailed Job Description: Database Engineer

The client is seeking a Database Engineer to join their team in Bangalore, Gurgaon, or Chennai. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based database solutions using AWS and GCP, leveraging Terraform for infrastructure as code, and performing performance tuning to ensure optimal database performance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain database solutions on AWS and GCP.
• Use Terraform to provision and manage database infrastructure.
• Perform database performance tuning and optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure database scalability and reliability.
• Monitor database health and troubleshoot issues.
• Document database architecture and processes.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of database concepts and relational database management systems.
• Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Familiarity with AWS and GCP database services (e.g., RDS, Cloud SQL, BigQuery).
• Ability to perform performance tuning and optimization.
