4. Detailed Job Description
Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled MongoDB DBA with 3+ years of experience in database administration, performance optimization, troubleshooting, and ensuring database availability, scalability, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade MongoDB databases and clusters.
  • Monitor database performance and optimize queries, indexes, and aggregation pipelines.
  • Manage replica sets, sharding, replication, and data distribution.
  • Perform database backup, restoration, and disaster recovery activities.
  • Monitor database health and ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot database issues and resolve performance bottlenecks.
  • Manage database users, roles, access permissions, and security configurations.
  • Perform database upgrades, patches, and routine maintenance.
  • Monitor storage, CPU, memory, and other database resources.
  • Collaborate with application, development, and infrastructure teams to resolve database-related issues.
