Job Description
The purpose of Network Practice Delivery Head is:
provide leadership and
line management for Network Tower Delivery team’s across Cluster of accounts.
To manage 3rd
party delivery partners and outsourced service providers to ensure the
successful delivery.
To ensure strategic
alignment between the Network Tower delivery and business needs.
To develop required
competencies for the team to deliver new age AI enabled services to clients.
To be the expert and
adviser on all Network Tower delivery matters, ensuring that Networking
Practice initiatives are delivered is line with Customers and industry best
practices.
He / She will be an effective senior leader and team player with the
ability to manage effective relationships with a wide range of
stakeholders. They will demonstrate personal commitment and
accountability to ensure standards are continuously sustained and improved both
within the internal teams, customers and with partner organisations and
suppliers.
For the purposes of this document, Networking technology includes
technologies used to support and deliver the networks – LAN, WAN, Network
Security, LMS, SASE, Network Diagnostics tools, Automation, Telecom Networking,
Contact Center & Colloboration Services, Cloud Networking etc.,
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
The accountabilities of the role are to lead, co-ordinate, manage and
deliver the activities of the Network Delivery team that will manage various
customer deliverables in the tower. This includes:
To work with the
Networking services accounts to ensure that the scope is fine-tuned,
transitioned, transformed and sustained across all the accounts.
To develop and maintain
the Network Services portfolio, through working collaboratively with the
Practice Development team and other functions, external partners and other
technology colleagues.
To build and manage
delivery teams & successfully deliver the programmes and projects within
the Network portfolio.
To ensure that overall
Network portfolio risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies are appropriately
managed and communicated to stakeholders.
To manage, measure and
report on the required quality, scope, budget and outcomes of Network delivery
projects to the appropriate stakeholders and governance bodies.
To participate in
procurements at various levels, ensuring alignment of requirements.
To work collaboratively
with other IT delivery teams to take advantage of and develop good practice
frameworks, methodologies and delivery collateral across the cluster of
accounts.
To contribute to business
continuity and disaster recovery planning.
Represent the Technology Group
Establish working
relationships and act as a point of contact for all stakeholders – Customers,
Internal Stakeholders, 3rd party vendor, Analysts and Alliance
partners.
To represent Network
Delivery Team at the appropriate Customer & Geo / CISS senior management
programme and project governance bodies.
To present technical
information and to communicate technical issues to both technical and
non-technical audiences, clearly and concisely either, in a written or verbal
form
