Assistant Manager - Transport Operations

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective transportation operations strategies to ensure timely and efficient movement of employees and goods.
• Manage and maintain a fleet of vehicles, including scheduling, routing, and maintenance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
• Monitor and analyze transportation costs, and develop strategies to reduce expenses.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
• Develop and maintain relationships with transportation vendors and service providers.
• Provide training and guidance to junior team members on transportation operations best practices.

Requirements

• 7-12 years of experience in Transportation Operations, Fleet Management, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and industry standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Transportation, Logistics, or Business Administration.
