Job description
Job Title: Sales Order Management
Location: Bangalore
Job Description:
- Own end-to-end delivery of Sales Order Management.
- Manage operations across: o Order Entry & Order Validation o Order Amendments, Cancellations, and Returns o Backorder and Allocation Management
- Drive accuracy, cycle time reduction, and customer satisfaction improvements.
- Provide leadership over Customer, Material/Product, Pricing, and Shipping Master Data.
- Ensure strong data governance, accuracy, and change control mechanisms.
- Oversee coordination with warehousing, transportation, and 3PL partners.
- Ensure seamless integration between order management, logistics execution, and billing.
- Monitor and improve OTIF (On-Time-In-Full), fill rates, and delivery performance.
- Manage escalation of delivery delays, shortages, and fulfillment exceptions.
- Ensure SLA, KPI, and compliance adherence across all order management activities.
- Order Entry & Order Lifecycle Management
- Master Data Management (Customer, Product, Pricing)
- Logistics, Warehousing, and Transportation coordination
- Managing large client engagements with global delivery centres
- Lead large cross-functional projects with risks identification & mitigation and complexity to achieve milestones and objectives
- Lead and drive growth and transformation for the account
- Responsible for client engagement delivering value beyond contractually agreed metrics
- Drive transformation including automation and digital interventions
- Governance management with client and internal stakeholders
- Lead and participate in cross sell / upsell activities within the accounts
- Anticipates internal/external business and regulatory/compliance issues; recommends transformation, product, process or service improvements
- Support new deals / RFPs from delivery perspective
- Challenges current services, technologies or products and recommends alternative solutions
- Increasing staff motivation and morale through effective performance appraisal and career development by training, coaching, providing feedback and integrating reward systems
- Strong exposure in creating a high performance-driven culture, employee engagement & customer centricity
- Coaching and motivating the team, optimally deploying for project requirements
- Willingness to work in flexible shift timing
