Oracle Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Engineer to join our team in Bangalore or Gurgaon. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle database administration and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain Oracle RAC (Real Application Clusters) environments
  • Configure and manage Oracle Data Guard for disaster recovery and high availability
  • Implement and manage Oracle GoldenGate for data replication and integration
  • Administer and optimize Oracle ASM (Automatic Storage Management) for storage management
  • Monitor and troubleshoot Oracle OEM (Enterprise Manager) for database performance and security
  • Perform daily tasks as an Oracle DBA, including backup and recovery, patching, and troubleshooting
  • Collaborate with the PostgreSQL DBA and MySQL DBA teams to ensure seamless integration and data consistency
  • Administer and manage Linux environments for Oracle database installations
  • Work with the Exadata team to design and implement Exadata solutions for high-performance databases

Requirements

  • 3-6 years of experience in Oracle database administration
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle RAC, Oracle Data Guard, Oracle GoldenGate, Oracle ASM, and Oracle OEM
  • Experience with PostgreSQL DBA and MySQL DBA is a plus
  • Proficiency in Linux administration and scripting
  • Experience with Exadata is a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
