Data Engineer – AWS (Cloud & Cryptography)

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure data storage solutions using AWS Key Management Service (KMS)
• Develop and maintain data encryption and decryption processes using industry-standard protocols such as TLS/SSL
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with PCI DSS and other data protection regulations
• Implement and manage network security measures to protect against unauthorized access to sensitive data
• Develop and maintain data pipelines using AWS services such as S3, Glacier, and DynamoDB
• Work with data architects to design and implement data warehousing and business intelligence solutions
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex data engineering issues in a timely and efficient manner

Requirements

• 6-10 years of experience in data engineering with a focus on cloud and cryptography
• Strong expertise in AWS services including KMS, S3, Glacier, and DynamoDB
• In-depth knowledge of cloud networking and network security protocols such as TLS/SSL
• Experience with data encryption and decryption processes using industry-standard protocols
• Strong understanding of PCI DSS and other data protection regulations
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex data engineering issues
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
