Assistant Manager - Accounts & Claims

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager - Accounts & Claims to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and claims management, with a focus on OEM claims, bookkeeping, and Finance & Accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and process OEM claims, ensuring timely and accurate resolution
  • Maintain and reconcile accounts receivable and accounts payable, including general ledger and bank                            reconciliation
  • Prepare and review financial reports, including balance sheet reconciliation and analysis
  • Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with the management team to identify areas for cost savings and process improvements
  • Provide guidance and support to junior staff members on accounting and claims-related matters

Requirements

  • 8-10 years of experience in accounting and claims management, preferably in a car dealership environment
  • Bachelor's degree in commerce (B. Com) or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles. 
  • Experience with OEM claims, bookkeeping, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, bank                       reconciliation, and balance sheet reconciliation
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and make informed               decisions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external                stakeholders
