Candidate Expectation & Responsibilities :
 
22+ Years of experience in Domain & Functional Expertise Deep expertise in GCC and GBS design, setup, scale, and transformation.
Strong understanding of shared services, captive centres, and global delivery models.
Functional depth in Finance & Accounting, HR, Procurement, IT, or Enterprise Operations.
Consulting & Leadership Skills Proven experience leading large-scale, C-suite-facing consulting engagements. Strong capability in operating model design, business case development, and transformation roadmaps.
Excellent executive communication, storytelling, and presentation skills. Strategic & Commercial Acumen Ability to link GBS/GCC strategies to enterprise value levers (cost, efficiency, agility, growth).
Strong experience in proposal development, deal shaping, and client relationship management.
High level of business judgment, risk management, and decision-making. Global & Cross-Cultural Experience working with global, multi-geo stakeholders across Americas, Europe, and APAC.
Strong appreciation of cultural, regulatory, and talent nuances across offshore and nearshore locations.
Change Management & Adoption Understanding of organizational change management (communications, stakeholder readiness, workforce transition).
Ability to anticipate resistance and embed adoption mechanisms into GCC/GBS designs. Benchmarking & Industry Intelligence Familiarity with GBS/GCC benchmarks (cost, productivity, span of control, pyramid, service maturity).
Ability to interpret and contextualize benchmarks rather than apply them mechanically.
Process Excellence & Continuous Improvement Working knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, BPM, and process maturity models.
Ability to link process excellence initiatives with automation and analytics. Digital, Automation & AI Awareness Conceptual understanding of: RPA, process mining, workflow tools Analytics, dashboards, service management platforms GenAI and AI-assisted operations in GBS/GCCs Risk, Compliance & Controls Awareness of regulatory, data privacy, SOX, internal controls, and audit considerations in global operations.
Ability to factor risk and compliance into design decisions without over-engineering.
Executive Facilitation & Workshop Design Skilled in designing and running executive workshops, design-thinking sessions, and steering committees. Strong facilitation skills to align diverse viewpoints and drive decisions.
